With time comes change

Reflecting on the founding of the Institute of new Energy Systems in 2001 and comparing it to its present state fills me with pride. After more than 20 years as Head of the Institute, I have transferred the leadership of the institute to the capable hands of my colleagues, Prof Dr Tobias Schrag and Prof Dr Matthias Huber. Under their guidance, jointly with Dr Christoph Trinkl, the institute will continue to contribute to a sustainable future, particularly within the realm of our international research projects.

For my part, I will continue my efforts in research, both domestically and internationally.

In this edition of our newsletter, I am delighted to announce our participation in two EU-funded projects. I hope you find this edition of the InES International Newsletter both informative and enjoyable.

Yours sincerely,

Prof Dr Wilfried Zörner
